Great Start Shiawassee

Early Childhood Education provides programs and services within Shiawassee County designed to promote school readiness of all children, birth through age 5.

This is accomplished by:

  • High quality education and care within the home, classroom, and community
  • Supporting parental involvement in education through interagency collaboration, parent education, and opportunities for family activities
  • Connecting families with community resources
