Buildings & Grounds

The Buildings and Grounds Department maintains five RESD buildings located within Corunna and Owosso providing maintenance and custodial services to the Education Service Center (ESC), North Street Professional Building, Student Learning Center-East, Student Learning Center-West and the SATA / RESD Transportation Facility. A portion of the custodial services provided for Student Learning Center-East and the Transportation Facility are accomplished with the help of the Student Enclave assembled from select students of Student Learning Center-East. This program provides temporary employment and job training to young adults in an effort to help them become more employable and self reliant.

The Building and Grounds Department plans, schedules and initiates all building projects, contracts and upgrades necessary for the RESD to perform all the functions and services it provides to the community. This department consists of employees who are dedicated to maintaining the districts five locations to the highest standards.
